P360 Performance Sports has announced the Tryout Schedule to begin the 15th season of the SBG Sox Youth Baseball Program. For the 2020-2021 season 33 youth teams representing 368 players are playing in the Youth Program. Heading into the June State Tournament season, Sox Youth Teams have placed as Finalists in 61 tournaments, with 29 championships.

Age division is determined by a player’s age as of May 1, 2022 unless he has been held back in school, which is then determined by what grade he is attending on May 1, 2022.

14U Tryouts will be held in August 2021
Tryout sessions will take from an hour to an hour and a half. Players should bring water, turf shoes, bat and glove and dress for running and fielding. All players are fully evaluated, and some players may be asked to attend another evaluation in a facility. Players that cannot attend one of the dates in their area can register for a private or make up tryout held in July.
SBG Sox Teams are coached by former professional and/or college players, with training facilities in Jackson MS, Hattiesburg MS, and Auburn AL. Coming this summer, the newest location will open at the Outlet Malls of Mississippi in Pearl MS, a 22,000 square foot facility conveniently located with hitting cages and pitching machines, a unique pitching lab and infield training turf. The summer 2022 will bring the new P360 Performance Sports headquarters at the Ross Barnett Reservoir with tournament quality turf fields and a 30,000 square foot training center.
